The Prequel That You’ll Never Read
I have not read any of The Horus Heresy books just yet, & I am glad that I heard this audiobook first. The Last Church is written quite well, & provides the perfect atmosphere, & ambiance for those of you wanting to start reading Horus Rising. This audiobook is written very well, & creates a desire for its listeners to jump into the world of Warhammer: 40,000. The narrator does a good job setting the mood for what is to come later in the future of mankind. I highly recommend hearing this audiobook, & then reading both The Horus Heresy, & The Siege of Terra series.
