I think track 19 was my favorite!!!
SO SO THANKFUL this Novella was available in the Dresden Files world… not having another book in the series to read or listen to has been like losing a limb!! These characters are wonderful and although Jim Butcher is no James Marsters it was still Awesome to hear the characters the way the author envisions them. I AM JUST HOPING AND PRAYING AND ATTEMPTING TO WAIT ON BOOKS 18 and 19!!!! Maybe Christmas will come early in Nov2023!!!
Butcher narrates, exceptionally!
So reading some of the other reviews people seem upset about two things, the price, as well as the fact Jim Butcher narrates this rather than James Marsters. I admit I was hesitant about a different narrator as well, but Jim Butcher makes it clear he is not replacing Marsters, gives Marsters credit for doing an incredible job narrating them, and then proceeds to do an incredible job. I’ve truly enjoyed listening to Butcher narrate this. It has been fun to hear the writer narrate how he intended it to all come off. The price is a bit high, $25 for about 3 hours worth, however it’s a very good story and to the point. I have no regrets buying it for the price.
I really liked it.
The story was very good. The audio was also great. Dresden is almost 7 feet tall people! What did you expect his voice to sound like? It’s deep and full just like I imagined. It was so nice hearing the way Jim Butcher pronounced the spells too. Highly recommended. 👍🏼
