The Light Between the Cedars (Unabridged‪)‬

After a courtroom trauma shatters her emotional defenses, Dr. Mira Tévasurez retreats to her late grandmother’s secluded cottage in the North Carolina mountains. There, amid cedar groves and the echoes of childhood memories, Mira stumbles upon a hidden journal from her great-grandmother—a midwife and healer who carried the weight of women’s stories in silence.

As Mira reads, memories surface: forgotten rituals, haunting dreams, and the quiet power of feminine lineage. The town of Wren’s Hollow—full of eccentric locals and ancestral whispers—becomes not just a place of rest, but a crucible of transformation.

With the help of a mysterious woodsman named Elias and the guidance of ancestral spirits, Mira slowly unearths her own gift: the ability to hold space for others, as the women before her did.

Blending lyrical prose, intergenerational trauma, and spiritual healing, The Light Between the Cedars is a story of grief, remembrance, and the quiet miracles born from listening deeply.
