Death Guard
Nurgle Provides!
Death Guard finally shines!
Well paced story, great characters, provides great detail into Death Guard that has been sorely lacking. Only thing to keep in mind is that story jumps back and forth between current events and events that led to the book’s beginning. Writing handles it well though.
Shows dichotomy between the old guard of Mortarion’s legion and the younger, more aggressive and impulsive, members.
Best descriptions of surroundings and appearances of Death Guard in any story with them that I’ve read. Really paints a disgustingly vivid picture.
Also Nurglings!!! Equally adorable and horrifying!
