A must-read
This book, based on thorough scientific research and partially based on Jon alabar-Zinn’s original 8-week course for patients with chronic physical pain, clearly breaks down the structure of depression and provides the essential tools to both free oneself from it and prevent future episodes in many people. It is a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and guided meditation developed at Oxford University and has been proven to work as well as antidepressants in many cases. It is a groundbreaking method now also being proven to help with other conditions, such as anxiety and much more. This is the original work by the original authors. Don’t be taken in by the many imitators out there with similar titles. It’s well worth purchasing and adhering to its practices. It has changed many lives.
