The Mongol Ascension

MISSION: SAVE THE WORLD

DESTINATION: ANCIENT MONGOLIA

Seventeen-year-old Dan Renfrew has more to worry about than the usual challenges of teenage life. He's a time jumper, a member of a secret organization charged with repairing disruptions in history before they change the future. And when rogue time jumpers threaten to plunge the world into chaos, Dan and his partner, Sam, must travel centuries into the past to stop them.

Their destination: Mongolia in the year 1179, a land of fierce warriors, shifting alliances, and deadly rivalries. There, they encounter a courageous young man determined to rescue his kidnapped wife. But what begins as a desperate personal quest soon becomes entangled with a far greater struggle—one that will shape the destiny of the Mongol Empire.

As danger closes in and the consequences of failure become increasingly clear, Dan and Sam must navigate a treacherous world where every decision could alter the course of history. With ruthless enemies working to reshape the past for their own purposes, the two young time jumpers face a race against time to preserve the future of the entire world.
