The Mountain (Unabridged‪)‬

Determined to conquer a mountain that defeated him last year, Ryan Jordan again leads a small team of climbers into the Sierra Nevada range. Conditions this time look more favorable—clear weather, a strong team, a good start. 

Equipped with ice axes and crampons, they make their way past rockfall, up a headwall of consolidated snow in the pre-dawn hours for their push to the summit. The fourteen thousand foot peak is within reach. Can Ryan count on success this year?
