Publisher Description

Jump into the world of the Devil's Outlands, where time travel, magic, and enemies-to-lovers romance collide.

The demon king Zor'imuth is no more, destroyed by the British werewolf Nathaniel Fortescue and his fated mate, the American Kylie Drummond. Years have passed in the modern world. The threat of the Outlands is over, or so it seems.

Until the daughter of Nathaniel and Kylie comes of age.

Zaen'imuth, son of the demon king, has sensed Charlotte Fortescue, though he can't find her. He will cross worlds and time itself to hunt down the woman he craves. But something strange is happening to the demon, and his desire to take an innocent mortal for his slave has transformed into something far more dangerous for them both.

The Outlands Demon is the second book in The Devil's Outlands series.

I loved the narration.

The Outlands Demon by Anna Durand is a somewhat dark, enemies-to-lovers, time-traveling demon romance. With a good spice-to-action ratio, this book will keep you entertained. There are even werewolves and magic, so there is a lot packed into this well-rounded story. The difference in time lines was interesting, and I really enjoyed the British banter. I look forward to reading more of Anna’s work.

The audiobook is narrated in dual by Evelyn Rose and Dane Anderson. Evelyn brought the goods with her well-accented English. I was definitely drawn in and entertained. She has a great male voice, which is a great plus for a dual performance. Dane was the perfect voice for the demon, Zane. I enjoyed his performance of each character he portrayed, as he did each with wonderful variation. Especially his female voice with a British accent. Great narration.
