Narrator needs to retake high school English
The story is good and the characters are fun. In fact, I've listened to 8 of these books in less than a month. However, the narrator in the last few books really needs to learn how to pronounce the three syllable words she apparently has not incorporated into her obviously own narrow lexicon. Examples include "incredulously", "aberrant", "convicted" (she pronounces it as "convinced"), and "substantively". This is aggravating. If you're going to charge $12.99 for an audiobook, at least hire a narrator who knows how to read and pronounce words outside of a grade school child's vocabulary.
