The Perfect Liar
A very interesting audiobook. Took me away from the “standard format” used by Slaughter, Brown, Roberts, MacDonald, etc.
Although certainly not the worse Narrator, this young lady read much too fast and lacked complete control of her voice. Better than most, though.
The characters were vivid and likable; and the story worked without all the ‘blood and guts,’ that I’ve come to despise.
I think the mystery was even more powerful due to this refreshing (subtle ?) writing style. I will read or listen to this author in the future.
I ask again, please indicate whether or not an Audio book is Abridged or Unabridged BEFORE we make our purchase. I pass up many books because I’m unable to determine this one simple detail.
