Publisher Description
Hear the original tales of Thor, Odin, and Loki, as the Vikings heard them long ago. Enjoy these ancient tales of tragedy, death, glory, and love, with all the gory and mystic details left out of the Hollywood versions. This collection, The Prose Edda, was the first time the Viking myths were assembled and written down in plain prose (before then, they existed only as oral poems). That makes this book one of the closest sources we have to these tales as the Vikings actually told them, not filtered through a modern lens. This abridged edition has only removed sections dealing with technical rules for writing poetry in the Viking style, but has included all the myths and legends. Many print editions do the same. This edition also features a new foreword, introducing the work to a modern audience.

Wow
wow this is terrible and for 17.99…
The Prose Edda
This review is more about Audible than The Prose Edda. What’s it take to get Audible to add track listings? $17.99 for 73 unlabeled tracks that simply blend into one grand waste of time. Do any of these books have chapters? Maybe it’s user error.
