Epic.
After re-reading book 1 in this series, I couldn’t resist reading on into book 2. (And thank you to the author/publisher, for producing the audio wide, which meant I was able to borrow from my local library.)
This was on par with book 1, fast-paced, full of action, adventure, magic, friendship, fierce loyalty, slice-of-life vibes, and more. A mystery from the first book was revealed, and while this one wraps up pretty neatly, I do feel a need to read on as I’m hooked on this world.
Features excellent world-building, humor, and tugged at the heartstrings. Very well done. Loving this style of writing.

Audio:
The more I listen to this narrator, the more she grows on me. Talented, she possess a wide range, to the extent that this often sounds like a ‘full cast’ production. Well done.
