See Alla Masterpiece of comedy!
I've got all of the Guide To...audiobooks, all of the podcasts, even every single XFM radio show from the early days (2001-05). This is by far the funniest performance by the guys bar none. I've actually laughed real tears at the idiocy spouted from Karl's mouth. He is a genius yet an idiot all at once. If you are on the fence about purchasing this audiobook, consider yourself well and truly pushed off to the side with the fans of Gervais & Co.
Ricky is a great comedian but it's his laughter that sends me over the edge. Steve (oooh...I love Steve!!) is always quick with his witticisms. He never seems to miss a beat to make Ricky laugh or make Karl sound even more foolish. And then there is Karl. What can be said or written about Karl that hasn't already been said. I wish him well and hope he gets that psychiatric help as soon as possible. ;o)
Please don't ever stop making these audiobooks. I can listen to them over and over....and believe me, I will!
Future perfect!
One of the best of all the Guides! Pilkington's future predictions and Gervais's and Merchant's reactions put me on the floor. Hilarious!
