Publisher Description
USA Today Bestselling author Leslie Pike brings you a standalone romance that’s heart-warming, steamy, and laugh-out-loud funny.
Falling out of a tree at the feet of a naked woman is not Nobel Lyon’s usual MO. He’s more the invisible man type. A name given to him in childhood. The observer. The logical thinker. A man who loves solitude. But the sexy mountain woman fishing on his property changed everything.
There are people who live every moment to the fullest and Dove Solomon is one of them. She can hook a line, gut a fish, and pitch a tent. She also sings like a fallen angel. The handsome man that just dropped into her life intrigues her in a way no one else has.
He’s an introvert, she’s an extrovert. But there’s no denying how drawn they are to each other.
Two people destined by fate to be together, no matter how different they are.
The one thing they can agree on? Opposites attract.

Excellent narration
This is the first book I've read in the Lyon Family series, and I was not lost at all with starting the series with this book. There are references to the earlier books in the series, but the events are separate from this book. It is actually a stand alone.
The River in Spring is a great opposites attract storyline where the characters have to make some big decisions.
I listened to the audiobook and the narration was fabulous. It's narrated in dual POV by Lance Greenfield and Stella Bloom.
I received a copy of this audiobook at my request, and the opinions here are my own.
Fun and romantic
River in Spring is a wonderfully sweet, fun and romantic book. I listened to the audiobook - narrated by Lance Greenfield and Stella Bloom. Lance and Stella do a wonderful job with the narration. They both bring emotion and energy to each of the characters. The first chapter of the book will pull you in and have you laughing out loud. Nobel’s family is so wonderfully amazing, fun and full of love. I really enjoyed the energy and humor they brought to the story. Nobel and Dove are opposites but have an instant attraction to one another. Dove is more laid back and a free spirit - looking for a big break with her band. Nobel is an attorney and is set in his ways - not much of a fan of change. They learn to give and take along with going through the ups and downs of a relationship.
