While the opening is kind of cheesy (crashed alien ships bring new technology to the world), the author merely uses it as a jumping-off point and fleshes out a great story. The characters are vivid, the tech is amazing, and the narration is great. I would recommend this book to any fan of sci-fi.
The second ship (book 1)
Great book. Enjoyed it a bunch. Looking forward to downloading book 2
Sad that it is over!
Just finished the trilogy. The character progression is both addicting and dynamic. Each book brings a very cool idea and storyline to the table. The narration is very well done. I would recommend this to any sci-fi fan who wants an easy and intriguing listen. It is clear that the author has knowledge of computers and modern physics theories with which he creatively plays with to progress the storyline. I would think that this is written for young adults, but I'm sure anyone interested in the topics would enjoy the book, whether audio or text. Again, I bonded to the characters and am sad that it is over!
