An interesting rendition of this particular vigilante story however
I have one suggestion I wish that they would have used the original music for the shadow as well as the beginning laugh.
This is not The Shadow
James Patterson has decided to strip away 90 plus years of history from one of pulp/comic's first antiheroes and present us with the story of a detective who can "turn invisible" and has "mind control powers." Gone is the wide brimmed slouch hat, cloaked overcoat, dual Colt 45s, and sinister way The Shadow victimized criminals into submission or took matters into his own hands. Gone is the espionage like way The Shadow operated with agents who owed him their lives. Instead we have an aristocratic detective who was the "inspiration" for The Shadow stories who is now thrust into a dystopian landscape of 2087. It's like someone writing a Batman story and not understanding that Bruce Wayne is the true mask, not Batman. What a disappointment.
