Spicy level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
This book should be the 2nd book you read in the LORD series. Spicy, dark. Pretty violent compared to the other books. Many uncomfortable scenes for those with weak stomachs this book may not be for you.
The vice Grip
The grip this series has on my soul is suffocatingly amazing.
This book had me yelling in my car, and sobbing in my office at work.
Well done Shantel well done. On to the next.
Narrators voice ruined it
This is such a great book and series BUT sample the audiobook before you buy. The male narrators voice did not match the character at all. He sounds more like a creepy old man instead of the sexy college guy he’s supposed to be. I usually listen with my AirPods but his nasally deep breaths and slight lisps in the pauses between sentences was too cringey to tolerate in my ears so had to listen on speaker (low volume) to get through the book. I wish the authors would be more selective to choose narrators that match the book and to enhance the listening experience.
