Broke my heart!

I’m literally still crying, while I write this review.

Great writing style. Gifted writer. Different twist of a story. Was so beautiful and painful because you know how the story ends and it literally breaks your heart. At the same time it really shows the accomplishments of this author. I wish someone warned to me before hand I feel like you have to be a masochist to want to go through this heartache. Well done!

An Unforgettable Journey of Love and Sacrifice: The Song of Achilles

The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller is an absolute masterpiece that captivated me from start to finish. Miller's writing is lyrical and evocative, effortlessly weaving together the myths of ancient Greece with a deeply moving love story between Achilles and Patroclus. The characters are richly developed, and the emotional depth of their relationship is portrayed with such tender nuance that it left me breathless. This book made me laugh, cry, angered me, and filled me with joyous laughter. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I found many points that resonated deeply with me, from the struggles of identity to the power of love transcending societal norms. It's a story that will stay with me forever, a beautiful tribute to the complexity of human emotion and the enduring strength of love. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a profound and unforgettable reading experience.
