Their mission would be easy—if only the men who hired each of them weren’t so handsome, good-hearted, and starved for love. Destiny won’t be denied in Susan Mallery’s lighthearted romantic romp filled with plenty of authentic, yearning emotion. Moving between lavish gardens and a converted monastery turned mansion, you can close your eyes during this listen and feel totally transported. Even Tanya Eby’s effervescent narration evokes a decidedly summertime mood. Breaking a bad-luck streak has never been such romantic fun.
