Publisher Description
A scientist invents a machine that allows him to travel far into the future, and back again. In a far distant world he finds what, at first, seems to be a paradise. There is no more suffering, only beauty, tranquility and peace. He soon finds out however, that the inhabitants of the future pay a terrible price for their "Eden", and he embarks on a dangerous quest to save them and himself from their "protectors".

Poor Reader
Don't buy this version: the reader cannot pronounce words and should not have been used. For example, he says the word poignant with a hard "g", the word gibbous with a soft "j" sound, the word sepulcher with an "sh" sound instead of a "k" sound for the "ch". He pronounces "dwarfed" as "dwarfted" and "dilapidated" as "dilapilated". His regional accent breaks through at odd times as well, resulting in dropped "r" sounds and peculiar vowels. In short, you would be better off buying another version where the publishers have chosen a reader whose mannerisms don't interfere with the book. It isn't awful, but it IS annoying.
