Excellent story. Terrible reader
H G started scifi and his stories are great. It is amazing to listen to someone who is so prophetic and exciting and just new what was coming. It sounded like the reader picked it up right off the shelf and started reading without any practice. Many mistakes. Many words misspoken. Oh well. You get what you pay for.
Start with a narrator that can read.
The greatest stories of history wouldn't survive this hack narrator. His cadence and rhythm are all wrong. A waste of time and money, I'd have rather given this money to a hobo to spend on smack.
Nice story
Very entertaining though the limited scientific knowledge of the time is evident. However, it is definitely worth the $0.98 to hear this classic!!
