Revealed in vivid detail is Patrick’s Texas upbringing, his personal struggles, his rise to fame, and how his soul mate Lisa stood by his side through it all.

As I listen to Patrick Swayze what comes to mind is "class act" "grace through adversity" "honest and forthright". What a legacy for his wife; what a gift for his fans. I always liked Patrick Swayze from his movies. Now he goes down in my book as one of the classiest men I've ever 'known' albiet through only his spoken word. Rest in Peace, Patrick. You ARE a good person and I am confident that you live on among the angels.

A Class Act

That's what Patrick Swayze was, in every aspect of his life--a class act. And the world is a bit of a sadder place without him. The audiobook helps capture a little of the passion he had for his work, and especially for his wife. Can't wait to read it in print.

Buy it to hear Patrick's story in his own voice. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's definitely sappy, and a little bit over the top, but when you are faced with the end of your life - I suppose it's what you feel. Everything in it's purest element. I did not enjoy the parts from his wife, her voice was abrubt and I would have prefered it in it's entirety from him. Overall - a good (not great) purchase.
