Discover Malcolm Gladwell's breakthrough debut and explore the science behind viral trends in business, marketing, and human behavior.

The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire. Just as a single sick person can start an epidemic of the flu, so too can a small but precisely targeted push cause a fashion trend, the popularity of a new product, or a drop in the crime rate. This widely acclaimed bestseller, in which Malcolm Gladwell explores and brilliantly illuminates the tipping point phenomenon, is already changing the way people throughout the world think about selling products and disseminating ideas.

Interesting reading or listening shall I say

I too had to read this book. But for an education class. I guess what I took from it was the fact that little things mean a lot and in the course of things I can make a difference given I find ways to make ideas stick in people's heads. Brilliant examples of all the concepts covered and not confusing at all.

Bad music

Book is great; Gladwell is a good reader. 4 stars cause of the infuriating music used to indicate chapter endings; they were absolutely awful, and didn't fit with the tone of the book. Every time i heard i wanted to rip off my headphones and throw them.

Good not Great

A good book not so great, I had higher expectation after reading "Success Built to Last" and "Made to Stick" a lot of exemples are too lenghty and the book lack substract.
