I loved spending time with Godfrid, Connell, and Cait. I just wish the narrator could actually speak her native tongue. I don’t understand how these basic mispronunciations weren’t corrected. I would expect to have to do those parts again, but apparently Laurel Schroeder doesn’t. As a native English speaker she should know how to say “chomping,” but - again - apparently not. “Champing” at the bit was jarring, distracting, and ridiculous. I would absolutely been willing to pay a little more for these audiobooks to have a better narrator, or at least have some editing done.
