Publisher Description
War is only the beginning...
From number one New York Times best-selling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes book four in her Blood and Ash series.
From the desperation of golden crowns...
Casteel Da’Neer knows all too well that very few are as cunning or vicious as the Blood Queen, but no one, not even him, could’ve prepared for the staggering revelations. The magnitude of what the Blood Queen has done is almost unthinkable.
And born of mortal flesh...
Nothing will stop Poppy from freeing her King and destroying everything the Blood Crown stands for. With the strength of the Primal of Life’s guards behind her, and the support of the wolven, Poppy must convince the Atlantian generals to make war her way - because there can be no retreat this time. Not if she has any hope of building a future where both kingdoms can reside in peace.
A great primal power rises...
Together, Poppy and Casteel must embrace traditions old and new to safeguard those they hold dear - to protect those who cannot defend themselves. But war is only the beginning. Ancient primal powers have already stirred, revealing the horror of what began eons ago. To end what the Blood Queen has begun, Poppy might have to become what she has been prophesied to be - what she fears the most.
As the Harbinger of Death and Destruction.
Customer Reviews
I was good but…
I really liked this series more than most it seems. The only thing that drove me crazy was dragging out some of the spicy scenes (I love the spicy scenes and details) especially when the plot was getting good or actually going somewhere. Again I enjoyed the series but the spicy scenes kinda got old when they feel like every other page.
Why does she say Ether like That™️
(1) W H Y does she have to say ether like it’s 3 whole drawn out syllables. It physically hurt each and every time.
A little cringe to get over the male narrator’s depiction of a female voice. It was hard to take it seriously for a long while as sometimes it felt like a middle school boy’s mocking imitation. Also hard to reconcile the voice I’ve come to feel was Castile with the *wildly* different voice of the speaker.
From Blood and Ash Audio Series
I absolutely love this series. At first, I did not care for the narrator. After the first book, I absolutely loved her! She is perfect for the series and reads it with the exact passion needed for each part. She does excellent with each character. This series is amazing! It’s definitely full filled my needs after reading all of the released books of Sarah J Maas, and now I’m hooked on this author as well!
