For Durzo Blint, assassination is an art-and he is the city's most accomplished artist, his talents required from alleyway to courtly boudoir.
For Azoth, survival is precarious, something you never take for granted. As a guild rat, he's grown up in the slums and learned to judge people quickly-and to take risks. Risks like apprenticing himself to Durzo Blint.
But to be accepted, Azoth must turn his back on his old life and embrace a new identity and name. As Kylar Stern, he must learn to navigate the assassins' world of dangerous politics and strange magics-and cultivate a flair for death.
Loved this book.
The audiobook is excellent. I have only listened to The Way of Shadows. I can't wait to get the next 2 books.
brent weeks has made a...killing
bravo this book is wonderfull for ages ive been looking for the next great series after the disapointing 2nd eragon book. well FOUND IT!!!! durzo blint is like altier and chuck noris in one brent weeks has struck gold and it it flowing like blood read this or listen you wont be disapointed.
The absolute worst narration I've ever heard. The narrator made a great story unbearable his inflexions are misplaced and annoying. Everytime he says the word "or" I want to throw up. Read the books if you would like to enjoy them.
