APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Glitz! Glamour! An opulent drama that spans generations! Buckle in for Danielle Steel at her best. In 1920s San Francisco, socialite Eleanor Deveraux has found her Prince Charming, and now she’s headed to Paris to be fitted for her gorgeous, one-of-a-kind wedding gown. But that doesn’t mean it’s happily ever after from here on out. We follow along as the dress is passed down through four generations of beautiful brides, from the challenges of the Great Depression and WWII to the counterculture of the 1960s and the excitement of the tech boom. We savored listening to each heartbreaking challenge and shocking twist befall the heroines of The Wedding Dress, never losing hope that they’d all surmount their troubles. Todd McLaren’s intimate, romantic narration makes it feel like this century-spanning story of love and passion is being read to us by one of the author’s own dashing heroes. In classic Steel style, Eleanor’s descendants face their challenges with plenty of grit—and, of course, plenty of elegance.

The wedding dress
Good book.
The Wedding Dress
Very repetitive with descriptions. The narrator made it even more boring. Couldn’t finish it fast enough - yawn
Five Generations of Ho Hum
I listened to this book during my commute to & from work. It was better than radio commercials and pesky DJ’s. If it had not been for that, I would not have finished it. No true plot. Just the troubles of a wealthy family.
