Favourite of the Series
I forgot how much I loved this book. Llelo is becoming his own man, but happily and proudly following in Garth’s footsteps. Woodbury is so faithful to historical truth, she doesn’t shy away from pregnant women drinking mead. Evan finds himself a lovely bride. It’s a heartwarming and beautiful story, with some murders and a large scale poisoning to spice things up a bit. The Worthy Soldier is my absolute favourite Gareth and Gwen story this far.
