Publisher Description

Think and Grow Rich is a motivational personal development and selfhelp book written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by a suggestion from ScottishAmerican businessman Andrew Carnegie. While the title implies that this book deals only with how to achieve monetary wealth, the author explains that the philosophy taught in the book can be used to help individuals do or be almost anything they want in this world. For instance, Jim Murray (sportswriter) wrote that Think and Grow Rich was credited for Ken Norton's boxing upset of Muhammad Ali in 1973. The book was first published in 1937 during the Great Depression. At the time of Hill's death in 1970, Think and Grow Rich had sold 20 million copies. It remains the biggest seller of Napoleon Hill's books a perennial bestseller after 70 years (BusinessWeek Magazine's BestSeller List ranked Think and Grow Rich as the sixth bestselling paperback business book 70 years after it was first published). Think and Grow Rich is listed in John C. Maxwell's A Lifetime Must Read Books List.

Awesome book. Wrong audio for book.

The book itself is fantastic. But while reading along with the audio, every few paragraphs the narrator will say something that’s not in the book. Maybe it’s in a different version of the book...but most certainly not the book it shows on the cover. It’s not awful. It just bothered me sometimes. But it’s doable..

Not bad

This book is a classic. 3 stars because some of the book is outdated and the narration isn't the best. Other than that it's a good one to try out. However many Brian Tracy books tell you all the principles but more real world examples and 1/3 the amount of time. That being said try it out. I just don't believe how it pushes that hard work is not important in success. Obviously there is much more but most successful entrepreneurs work hard and long and this book makes you think it's all just "think your way to wealth" Try it put because the lessons on your mind are worth it.

In a way a lot of this sounds like a get rich quick book. I do recommend the Law of Success by Napoleon Hill.

Reader is not good

I wish I didn’t get this version of the book. The reader is hard to listen to. He has no excitement in his voice
