Amazing, romantic story, wonderful narrator. Five stars.
I was really excited to get a copy of this book in audio. I’ve already got it on my keeper shelf, and now I will get to have it in my car and on my phone forever. I love how Rowe, the main character is so vulnerable yet strong, She’s going through a lot and finding herself, and the narrator of this book really brought that out. I’m so in love with sexy baseball Nate that I’m not going to lie, at first I was worried to hear him narrated by a female narrator, but this narrator is amazing and she swept me away. In seconds I was locked up in the story, in the written words mixed with her great read—the romance all with the voices she does pulls you in.. You don’t hear her, you just get this way to SEE the romance developing between the characters through her. This is a romance set in a perfectly painted, first year university setting. As much as the narrator brings out the people, the author of this story has captured all of the excitement and nerves, the new friendships as well as the amazing first kisses and love that develops between Nate and Rowe. There’s roommates—some of them make you LOL and parties and people down the hall as well as Nate’s baseball scenes and his passion for the sport and the complicated relationship with his brother, all layered in here. All wow—wonderful and so multi faceted in audio book.. This audio book brings a romance that’s so swoony good to life. This is only the third audio book I’ve ever heard, and I’m just getting into this new addiction that is hearing stories read aloud off my iPhone, but I’ll be back for more of this author as well as look for other work this narrator has read.
