Letting go is not a process that comes naturally to us. In a world that teaches us to cling to what we love at all costs, there is an undeniable art to moving on — and it's one that we are constantly relearning.
In this series of honest and poignant essays, Heidi Priebe explores the harsh reality of what it means to let go of the people and situations we love most — often before we are ready to — and how to embrace what comes next.
Medicine for a Broken Heart
I read this book in one day. This book literally took everything I was feeling and put it into words. This is like a wise older woman giving you the blueprint for how to move forward and begin again. This is also like a therapist actually tell you what to do. Read this book if you are having a hard time moving on and are fearful of the future. This book taught me its ok to have the feel the impacts of a broken relationship, but that you will learn, grow, and be better for going through it. This is the book you will want to refer to every time you go through a break up. This is medicine for your heart, mind, and soul. This will give you that extra boost of confidence to try at love again and more times after that. Loved it!!!
Love love love
This literally covered everything from losing my grandma, to learning to love and let the guy go. I have listened to it three times and it is beyond soothing to feel so connected to someone through the pages.
This book was perfect. It captured your emotions and perfectly articulated exactly how you feel. Glad I read it
