For President Jack Ryan, his son Jack Ryan, Jr., and the covert organization known as The Campus, the fight against America’s enemies is never over. But the danger has just hit home in a way they never expected in this #1 New York Times bestselling Tom Clancy thriller....

The Campus has been discovered. And whoever knows they exist knows they can be destroyed. Meanwhile, President Jack Ryan has been swept back into the Oval Office - and his wisdom and courage are needed more desperately than ever.

Internal political and economic strife has pushed the leadership of China to the edge of disaster. And those who wish to consolidate their power are using the opportunity to strike at long-desired Taiwan, as well as the Americans who have protected the tiny nation.

Now, as two of the world’s superpowers move ever closer to a final confrontation, President Ryan must use the only wild card he has left - The Campus. But with their existence about to be revealed, they might not even have a chance to enter the battle before the world is consumed by war.

Threat Vector

Overall I like this book. However, I wonder if this author has actually read all the previous Jack Ryan novels!!
This guy made the statement that Jack jr is President Jack Ryan’s oldest child. What happened to Sally Ryan?

Unabridged out of order, easy fix

I haven't listened to it yet, but when I synched it, I noticed part 3 followed part 1, skipping part 2. If you have that too, select each part individually and make sure the authors' names are in the same order on all three. On my part 2, Clancy was listed second, which iTunes saw as a different "album," thus playing the file out of order. Hope that helps and hope it is good.

Best book of 2012

Threat Vector is one of the best books of 2012. Why? Because Tom Clancy is one of the best authors out there. I am a big Clancy fan and i love this book because is very well written and all my favourite characters are there. President Ryan is back in The White House, Jack Ryan jr is in trouble, Ding and John Clark are the best operatives in the field. Since i'm reading Clancy for about 10 years i have the impression that i know everyone, that they are real and that the plot of this novel is very possible. Lou Diamond Phillips performance is great and he gives life one again to these characters. Read the book, you will love it. This is Clancy at he's best, and there is none better.
