Several revelations in this book!
I was so happy to hear this book start with the “Ghostwalker’s Creed”, it brought back memories of Narrators Tom Stechshulte (Nov 1948-June 2021…R.I.P.) and Jim Frangione. I had to get used to James McAdams’ narration, his Cajun voices for Nonny and Wyatt were off as was his attempt at sounding Irish with Ian McGillicuddy. But overall he did a descent job.
There are some spoilers in my review:
This installment gave us some information we never heard! The name of Ruben and Diego’s older brothers (Caleb and Abel) and how Diego discovered what happened to them and places them in their final resting place. The fact that his mother had mental illness and abused him. Or that Diego suffered from depression and is a psychic surgeon. Diego has some mental health healing to do, but certain Ruben, Zeke and Joe will see that he receives the care he need.
When Diego rescued Mordechai from the Afromosia tree, Mordechai (speaking telepathically) to Zeke called him ZACK! When did Mordechai start calling him Zack?!?
I am thinking that Bridget and Ian McGillicuddy may have been paired based on his reaction when she was in the exam room.
Whitney getting his hand cut off by Diego was surprising. Whitney will problem grow another hand. Can’t wait for the next installment! Love the GhostWalkers!!!
