To Bear A War

Takeshi is pulled into a war he may not understand, but respects, it for his nation of Japan. College dreams are replaced with combat training. Family dinners at home are a memory as rations in trenches become the norm. Still, he ventures on for his flag and his brothers in arms. One day, a mysterious package with no sender label arrives for Takeshi: a teddy bear, and with it comes a string of once forgotten moments, strange good luck, and hope. Can you rely on luck in a world of the fallen, blood, and gun smoke? If so, could there be consequences to reach and wish for such desires on the battlefield?
