Bible backed truth
I wish everyone would read this book!
I recommend this book to everyone!! Allie Beth Stuckey has done an excellent job explaining how activist and political groups play upon the general public’s (and specifically Christian’s) empathy, to promote their own evil agendas. They use heart stirring propaganda, rather than facts, and do not paint the entire, ugly picture. This sure helps to dissect what is going on currently in our society as well as how to respectfully and lovingly stand your ground on these highly controversial issues and how to react when confronted with Toxic Empathy! There is so much information to unpack here… I’ve listened to it twice and am going back to listen again. It is all based upon historic and scientific evidence, government documents, as well as biblical scriptures taken in context. I am ashamed to say, I had no idea about many of the facts presented in the book so was thankful for her thorough research into every topic as well as her clear explanations. It also was a great reminder to many of us, who do not regularly follow political news, to never take the media, especially social media posts, at face value… do not base your opinions upon the feelings they invoke or what seems to be the KIND thing to do. Do your own “real” research! Look for unbiased platforms. Look up the origin of groups before supporting them. Search for actual projects and people these groups are supposedly helping, and follow the money trail (aka… who is benefiting). Don’t just follow a particular party line, famous person, or even religious leader blindly without knowing what/who you are supporting. Ask questions! Well done, Allie! Thank you for being brave and bold enough to speak out! I pray your book and your public speaking platforms reach millions of people and that God continues to use you to change lives!
Terrible book
This is one of the worst books I’ve purchased. Terrible theology with disastrous outcomes for Christ, the church, and the Kingdom.
