An interesting description of the Pacific Coast Trail and the culture of the through hikers. The book describes the challenges of trying to locate hikers who have gone missing, as well as the dedicated efforts of a group of volunteers trying to find them.
A descriptive summary of the Pacific Crest Trail and the culture and experiences of those that set out to hike it.
I found the behavioral research, regarding lost persons, and statistics about their proximity to last known positions very interesting.
The selflessness and cooperation of the amateurs who sought to bring answers to the families of the missing was inspirational.
These story’s of the missing are scary
I am really interested in all these missing 411 cases, it’s just so scary how many people just vanish in the woods and never found..
