It's Repetitive
This book is disappointing. It’s repetitive and lacks meaningful insights. While the profiles are decent, Covel’s writing comes across as self-congratulatory, as if he’s a famous trend trader himself—though his claim to fame seems to be writing a book on the topic. Even more frustrating is the inclusion of podcast interviews in the audiobook, which feels out of place. The writing reminds me of that person at a party constantly name-dropping (“Larry Fink told me,” or “John Henry says”), leaving you scanning the room for someone else to talk to. My advice? Skip the book. Just listen to the podcast—you’ll get enough out of it to move on to Market Wizards.
