True Believer

Only 4 chapters in. The story is good. I’m drawn in to the characters. The narrator is fabulous. However, the music that was added at the beginning and end of some chapters was a bad choice. It’s distracting, too loud, and not necessary.

Nope

This is the worst Nicholas Sparks book I’ve ever read/listened to. The story was boring, the characters were boring and the reader was So Boring. Big Fail.

Why the music?!

I think it’s a great story but I couldn’t tolerate the music overlapping the narration. Why do we need music in an audio book? Completely distracting from the narration, louder than the narrator. Why is Nicholas sparks doing this with his audiobooks?
