Former tour manager and plane crash survivor Ron Eckerman reveals the rigors of life on the road as Lynyrd Skynyrd takes the world by storm in 1976, and the ironic turn of events preceding the tragic plane crash in 1977. Ron narrated this audio originally in 2011.

Ron lost a one year battle with acute myeloid leukemia in May of 2014. He asked just a few

weeks prior to his passing to re-release the paperback, add photos, and donate any proceeds to the Leukemia Foundation. A book about Ron's cancer battle, The Last Tour: Love, Laughter, and Tears was released in November of 2014 by his wife and caregiver, about his courageous battle against leukemia. He never gave up hope and he never stopped smiling. It is also available on Amazon as in paperback and Kindle, and will soon be released in audio.
