It's 1996, and Mighty Casey Morgan is back in Mudville—this time with a schtick of a different sort. The former all-star first baseman, jilted by the team he carried on his back for 15 seasons, now rules the AM talk show airwaves. 

Callers into the program love talking with their hometown hero and hope his return will somehow energize their struggling ballclub, for longtime fans of the Mudville Muscle are dying to finally hoist a championship pennant. Some more literally than others.
