Publisher Description
A USA Today Bestseller!
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a new steamy, STEMinist novella…
A scientist should never cohabitate with her annoyingly hot nemesis—it leads to combustion.
Mara, Sadie, and Hannah are friends first, scientists always. Though their fields of study might take them to different corners of the world, they can all agree on this universal truth: when it comes to love and science, opposites attract and rivals make you burn…
As an environmental engineer, Mara knows all about the delicate nature of ecosystems. They require balance. And leaving the thermostat alone. And not stealing someone else’s food. And other rules Liam, her detestable big-oil lawyer of a roommate, knows nothing about. Okay, sure, technically she’s the interloper. Liam was already entrenched in his aunt’s house like some glowering grumpy giant when Mara moved in, with his big muscles and kissable mouth just sitting there on the couch tempting respectable scientists to the dark side…but Helena was her mentor and Mara’s not about to move out and give up her inheritance without a fight.
The problem is, living with someone means getting to know them. And the more Mara finds out about Liam, the harder it is to loathe him…and the easier it is to love him.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Opposites definitely attract in this witty and upbeat romantic comedy. When engineer Mara isn’t dealing with office politics at her job with the Environmental Protection Agency, she’s binge-watching The Bachelor and eating Chinese food. The last person she’d want to spend time with is Liam, an uptight, emotionally distant lawyer who works for an unscrupulous oil company—but unfortunately, he’s her roommate. Ali Hazelwood gives her two leads so much charm, you can’t help but root for them to get along. Emma Wilder’s narration brings out everything great about this story, making Mara’s internal monologues funny and relatable while giving Liam a sexy voice that absolutely suits him. If you like your romance heroines to be funny, feisty, and feminist, Under One Roof is just what you’re looking for.

Wish there more
Love how the author did a another funny book. I love how the characters story become one other. And I wish there was more about the two main characters.
Could barely finish it.
There were many inaccuracies and stupid things written that it’s all I could think about. Like in no world would an attorney for a major corporation not have Linkedin or a headshot. Is this point central to the story? Nope. But was it annoying to read? Yes. Also the whole, “why don’t you apply for the team lead” plot line was inane. She was months out of graduating and brand new to the job. So stupid. There are lots of things like this that were silly and distracting.
