Changed my Life Forever
This books explains how to live in a state of pure love & harmony with yourself. I meet Michael Singer in 2019. This guy truly changed my life forever. Thank you Mickey! :)
Not for me
This book is not for me. I am sure it appeals to a lot of readers (listeners), but it is not for me. I listened to the first few chapters and had to call it quits. To start, the title indicates that in someway this book will show you how to untether your soul, yet in the first few chapters the author relates his philosophy to the Big Bang theory. As a Christian, I am not sure how one can write a book centered around the Big Bang theory and reference one’s soul. Perhaps the author is referencing soul as in the essence of a person, but as a Christian...this is a non-starter for me. Further, I feel as though the author says a lot, without saying much. I am over simplifying, but his basic thesis seems to be — you are not in control; accept your lot in life, enjoy the ride, do not try to control what you cannot, but roll with the universe.
