Awesome but abridged

The story is classic Cussler...Dirk and Al do not disappoint. My only complaint is that this is an abridged version of the book and iTunes does not state that anywhere in the description. I didn't figure this out until after I purchased it and while listening noticed some things left out from when I read the book.

First Time Cussler

This was my first Cussler novel and he definately lived up to his storytelling reputation. I purchased the book to listen to while at the airport and on business flights. Had a 3 hour flight to my destination and on the return flight I found myself checking the time to see if I had enough flight left to finish the book. It was completely enthralling and I'm back on iTunes now purchasing another one of his books for an upcoming flight. Downloaded the chronological order in which his books were written and plan to listen to all of them available on audio.

Just couldn't get into it

I have 4 other Clive Cussler Audio books and I just couldn't get into this one. The characters were bland and the narrator didn't live up what I had expected. On long drives I forced my self to finish all the chapters and I'm glad it's over so I can get a new and different Clive book.
