Plot armor ruins a story
Horus was getting shot point blank range by Knight class titans and was saved by a magical Bro hug. Then proceeded to climb the titans like ands and destroy them with fist. Now I understand why people dont like 30k.
Another good read
I have yet to read a heresy series book that I did not enjoy. Sometimes however, the side stories of basic humans trying to survive is just boring. Any part that involved Horus, Loken, or the battle of Molech was consistently well written, as expected.
