So good!
I highly recommend this series. The books are fun and engaging and the narrator does an excellent job of sucking you in. I don’t normally read YA, but I adored everything about the Finishing School series. (Except for maybe the love triangle aspect, but that wasn’t as painful as others I’ve read and didn’t dominate the plot, so it’s all good.)
I decided to read through all of Gail Carriger’s books after randomly picking the San Andres Shifters off the bookshelf at a store. I love it and as soon as I realized it was part of a more expansive universe, I had to read it all. Despite loving the premise, the characters, the voice, and the world build, I had trouble getting into the first book in the Finishing School series on my e-reader. Thank goodness I thought to try in a different medium before giving up because I LOVED it. I’ve since made it through the next six books in the universe and I can’t recommend it enough.
The only bummer is that for some reason I couldn’t find the fourth and final audiobook in The Finishing School series, Manners & Mutiny, on iBooks. The audiobook is available elsewhere, but I ended up just reading the ebook.
