The audiobook was so good! The female narrator bodied Cane’s character.
I enjoyed the way this book kept me invested given the 18 year old heroine. Normally, younger female leads in some romances overdo the naïveté and undeveloped mind of a young adult with blatantly stupid thought processes and annoying mentalities. Shanora has given us a great read.
Something to note: kudos to the male narrator. He really tried with the female character but his voice is too deep. During some parts, he made me laugh when read Candy’s parts.
