Ramon is amazing
Ramon did this book justice with his delivery. Absolutely stunning!
Great story, terrible narration
Excellent story, really interesting to listen to! However, I rated it a 3, because Ramon De Ocampo is a terrible, terrible narrator. Every female voice he does feels like he’s making fun of women, and all his other voices are incredibly hacky, jokey, and Vaudeville-esque. I listened to a Christie Golden written & narrated book before this one, and Christie blows him out of the water as a narrator/voice actor. His voices are like nails on a chalkboard to me.
