The Warlock in Spite of Himself- Audio Book Commentary
This I one of my favorite books and rates 5 stars. It is great reading and an excellent plot. The Audio Book is outstanding from a voice and character perspective and really make the story come alive!! The voice of Gwen so matched her character so well that you could truly visualize her!! (Pretty good magic for an audio book!!!)
My only sad complaint is that, as a previous gentleman pointed out, the audio book ends before the the actual book does! He called it an abridgment, and I disagree. I call it a production problem, when you leave off just before the last chapter where Rod has to decide last chapter is a critical one would not say it is an abridgment however, I think it more of a production problem when you abruptly end the story just before the touching climax where Rod really struggles with whether to stay on the Planet with Gwen or Return to the Stars!!! It is well worth reading, if you can't listen to it!

This is one of my all time favorite series. I was thrilled to see it available. At the same time I was extremely disappointed that the audio stopped short of the actual end of the book. That last couple minutes is extremely important to the continuation of the series.
