Top notch narration: made me really feel those terrifying moments.

Great Book, Not a Children’s Novel
Watership Down is a masterclass of how to write a novel.
Richard Adams’ writing voice is engaging, believable and highly readable. I have loved the book since I first read it 43 years ago.
I re-read it often and it will always be on my bookshelf.
Having said that it is a disservice to both the author and the book itself to categorize it as a children’s book.
Pete Capaldi’s performance of the audiobook shows how amazing this format can be when a skilled actor is perfectly paired with the source material.
One of the best books I’ve ever read
This book has been a favorite for longer than I care to remember. If you like world building, and can allow yourself to be pulled into a good story, you will like this book a lot. Peter Capaldi is an excellent reader, and brings the characters to life in a fabulous way.
