With the critical eye of a true insider, Janetti offers his takes on the best places to stay and eat around the world, along with tips on getting there (like never checking a bag—ever). And while we loved getting voyeuristic insights into Janetti’s most singular experiences—like the 20-course meal he had in Mexico City at a pop-up version of a legendary Danish restaurant—it’s the personal shares that we found most memorable. We laughed out loud as he tried hilariously to get his husband, fashion expert Brad Goreski, to recall a few details from their first meeting on Mykonos. If this book was a blueberry muffin, I would describe it as warm, inviting but sharp on the tongue. Just the right amount of zest, soft in all the right places. Not too big, not too small. Leaves you wanting more but knowing you got exactly what you needed.

Gary does it again. I had high hopes after listening to his first two books and somehow this exceeded it.
